  • Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's lists.

    September 7, 2007

  • I must confess Father Seanahan that in my heart I have lusted after my neighbor's lists (some are really hot!) but never had the courage to try to possess them.

    September 9, 2007

  • Thanks for that, palooka. Confession is good for the soul. ;->

    September 9, 2007

  • Well Palooka, your act of contrition consists of 7 Hail Johns, 13 Our Wordies.

    September 9, 2007

  • Thank you seanahan. Some sort of penance is called for here & I think you've been merciful. So, we're you raised Catholic also?

    September 10, 2007

  • There seem to be many of us....

    September 10, 2007

  • I was indeed raised a Catholic.

    September 10, 2007

  • A Hail John, that must be like a Hail Mary, as in football? An act of desperation, with very low odds of success?

I'm an erstwhile Catholic too. Or "historically Catholic", as my friend Peter says. Though I guess you didn't say you were erstwhile, just raised as such--not necessarily the same thing. But I'm both :-)

    September 10, 2007

  • John, I misread your comment at first as "histrionically Catholic." I'm not sure what to make of that, but it's a good thing no psychologists are around me right now. ;-)

    September 10, 2007

  • Hail John.

    September 10, 2007

  • I'm historically Catholic also - but all the guilt remains. If I don't say my "Hail Johns" I'm certain I'll be cast into the inferno & forced to spend eternity making wordlists with uselessness as my only companion.

    September 10, 2007

  • Not touching that with a 10-foot pole.... ;-)

    September 10, 2007

  • Don't count on it, palooka, I'm protestant. ;-)
