My two favorite appellations for these Demi-Sec bottlings are Vouvray and Montlouis, with producers such as Domaine Huet, Domaine Foreau and Domaine Pinon amongst my favorites in Vouvray, and Domaine Chidaine (now also a great source for Vouvray as well) my equivalent of Château d’Yquem in Montlouis.
