Aug 20th, 2008 at 2: 31 pm samwich blehh … i been eating from this cart since i was a freshman in college after long hours of drunken partying … (almost 8 years now) i gag at the smell of this stuff … and they have gotten considerably worse through the years so imagine how amazing it was back then … filled to the brim not the half filled bs they give you now … and a WHOLE pita … not 3 little spears … but i must admit … for those first couple of year sit was pure bliss … would drive down from stony brook just for this stuff sometimes … ahh the good old days …

BUT i love the idea of having something for everyone to read on the lrt - other than the ads of course (blehh to the MAS ads especially). pitching ideas and getting sponsorships from the big bookstores sound great, but how about a few small independent efforts? one idea is to create small zines with suitable reading material - factors for example depending on length of ride. these could be left on the lrt for people to pick up to read (or do what they wish with them), ala the projects going on at foundart. org as an exmple. there could also be an accompanying website that documents the zines made and their distribution. readers could also log on and leave comments on what they've read. how does that sound?
