So far most of the country has refrained from going up like a bonfire (probably due to the lack of available tinder - everything burned last year) although there have been a few minor fires near where I'm living (I'm in a relatively new subdivision, about five to ten years old, and there's still a lot of areas which are "scheduled for development" - or in other words, slightly adulterated bushland).
