the hit parade of pirated CD's or DVD's. Etymology derives from the word manta, meaning 'blanket', and refers to the sale of such pirated items by manteros, or 'blanket men'. The discs are fastened to a blanket, for easy recovery and disappearance, should a nosy policeman arrive on the scene.
