• noun A very peculiar genus of cystids, of the family Callocystidæ, with oval or pyriform calyx, consisting of 20 plates (arranged in five rows) and a column which consists of two parts, thereby differing from all other associated genera. The genus occurs in the Upper Silurian of North America.
