WOW. i knew Sun was not doing well but this is abysmal. so they just got 2 billion into debt?. and even if they got 12 billion dlls in revenue. what is their gross profit performance from that?. even with their success with OpenOffice. i have to wonder if the cost they took with OpenOffice 3 development, launch and support does not cost way more than what staroffice is going to be able to produce in a year?. more now than ever with competition from ThinkFree, iWork, Zoho and Even Google Docs for the post MS Office Market (that is what?, around 10-15%?) ugh … if Javafx fails to deliver this year and general java use continues to diminish in the consumer desktop and in the enterprise as it has been doing for the last 3 years.
