Note
This word comes from ‘Eeyore,’ a character created by ‘Winnie-the-Pooh’ author A. A. Milne. ‘Eeyore’ is a gloomy and pessimistic donkey, and now refers to any excessively negative person. The name may be imitative of the sound a donkey makes.
