It may be easy to dismiss splatterpunk and horror publications like Iniquities—along with similar movements that had their roots in that time like death metal and indie/alt/post-punk music—as silly or inconsequential entertainments even if Skipp & Spector books were selling in the millions, but these were antidotes to real and powerful poisons in our culture.
