I actually did enjoy the first issues Jim Lee did in Uncanny X-Men the Mandarin x Psylocke ones, but by the time the adjectiveless X-Men started, I already had mixed feelings for the way Jim Lee's art had developed, too confusing and dirty and looking more like a frantic MTV videoclip.

I particularly remember the space scene closer to Asteroid-M in the early issues of adjectiveless X-Men, full of guys wearing spacesuits, and I couldn't make any sense of what was happening.
