• A group of Mollusca having no radula and no head: distinguished from Glossophora. The group includes only the Pelecypoda. Same as Lipocephala.
• A series of anurous or salient batrachians which have no tongue.
• . [Used as a singular.] A genus of pyralid moths, containing such species as A. pinguinalis and A. capreolatus.
