Perhaps the MCM* has begun to remove a bit of Obama's luster: Last night (iirc) on the NBC Evening News, there was a clip of Obama commenting on the bruited Bush plan, and, interestingly, it was filled with long pauses, um's and ah's, and sounded, well, somewhat less than polished or well thought out.
