  • I enjoyed the post but surely the typical arminian response would be that God being sovereign foreknew that people would come to Christ therefore eliminating the "possibility" that Christ's atoning work be for nothing. ok, so God foreknew that some people would somehow generate repentance and faith in their own hearts (of course, no man has the ability in himself to believe or repent) and receive Christ and his righteousness. so then why does the arminian still declare that Christ died for everyone?
