-- The principal use made of it, is in the form of poultices, made by thickening a strong decoction of the bark or leaves with wheat bran, rye or corn meal; it is good in all inflamed wounds, bealings, ulcers, &c., the part should be well bathed every twelve hours in the decoction, and the poultice made and applied as above directed.
