May 10th, 2008 5: 45 pm ET my request to clinton supporters: please be open-minded. if clinton had led in delegate count and popular vote, and obama supporters were to protest that obama ought to get the nomination for generating so much enthusiasm among the young voters, what would you say? would you think obama ought to get the nomination? if not, then why don't you apply the same rules to hillary? by choosing not to apply the same rules to hillary as you would to barack, you prove that you are biased towards hillary! as a supporter of hillary, there's nothing wrong for you to be biased for her. but, let us all know and be aware that you are biased and words coming out of your mouth reflects that biasedness. it's certainly okay to be biased as well, but do not offend others by saying obama that stole the nomination. because we all know he earned it and hillary is trying to steal it right now!
