A crocodile's fate :-(
There are several commercial crocodile farms in the Northern Territory. Their stock comes from breeding programs and from 'problem' crocodiles removed from the wild, eg. the 250 or so animals trapped each year around Darwin harbour. Crocodile numbers in the wild have increased dramatically since a ban on hunting imposed in the 1970's.
