Went through classes, went for strings rehersal, went to help out with the open house stuff, closed shop at 6 plus cause i was so freaked out at being in brahms alone = X went down to the banner people there, stoned a bit, then went off to the cafe with huiwen.

that evening i "celebrated" by attending a concert by one of the world's greatest string quartets, the Shanghai Quartet. unfortunately, they didn't play any STAR WARS music, but instead played beethoven op. 18 no. 6 and brahms f minor piano quintet. to say it was amazing would be doing it a disservice. i haven't heard chamber music playing like that in a long time, and i miss it. they were truly unbelievable.
