My question is, using 100 grain bullets, is this an adequate caliber/bullet weight for deer sized game?
I acquired a 25-06 barrel for my tc encore and got it zeroed in nicely at 100 yards. 2009

All I know is that I've shot maybe a dozen or so hogs over the years and never had one go more than a couple of feet after being hit with 139 grain bullets from a 7X57, 130 grain bullets from a .270 and 180 grain bullets from an '06.
