Sunday, October 12, 2008 autumn is here our trees are telling us it's autumn ... we took two walks today - the 5k AIDS walk downtown and one around our neighborhood - with dim sum in chinatown in between. then we had a yummy dinner at chris's new place out in beaverton. i have the day off tomorrow for columbus day, which is a bullshit holiday but i'll still not go to work. bonus photo from our neighborhood walk

i will often buy a bag of apricot kernals in chinatown where they are commonly snacked on. i put them in my granola or to top my yogurt and have had no ill effects.
