So yeah, maybe it is ironic making a film based off of this book, but Bradbury himself wants FD to do it, and he is also a movie fan, and a screenwriter, most of his literature reads very "cinematically", I don't see what the big issue is if it just sticks to the book - Sam Peckinpah wanted to adapt "Something Wicked This Way Comes", and Ray asked him how he was going to do it and he replied, "Gonna rip the pages right out of the book and stuff 'em int the camera!"
