  • noun A notable genus of gregarines, found in one of the diplopod myriapods, peculiar in the characters of its protomerite, whose contents form two distinguishable masses, the lower finely granular, the upper highly refractive, apparently fatty, and of a greenish color. The species is C. lutea.
