My perfect example is WOW .. go into dalaran with a modest GPU and its slow as all hell - run rivatuner to watch your GPU load and realize its barely even tapping the video card while the CPU is pegged 100\% and the other threads are doing little or nothing to increase performance. overclock your CPU and dalaran jumps in performance while the GPU increase is at a lower proportion.
