- In Latreille's system of classification, a group of Apiariæ or bees, having the under side of the abdomen of the female hairy, as in the genera Megachile, Anthidium, etc. The mason-bees and leaf-cutter bees belong to this group. Also written Dasygastreæ, Dasygastriæ.
