• noun In naval architecture, the angle between a tangent to the circular path of the center of gravity of a vessel, when turning under the influence of the rudder, and the central longitudinal line of the vessel.
• noun The angle by which the direction axis of the bore of a gun deviates from the true direction in order to compensate for the drift of the projectile.
