The only thing different about the way 3.1.0 opens (than the way 3.2 did) is that the first screen to come up is an "ffdshow" screen, asking me if I want to use it or not.

Disclaimer: I may not have any idea what I'm talking about Multiavchd doesnt crash for me on any settings or menus, make sure you have all the codecs installed properly such as ffdshow or Xvid-1. 2.2 for xvid avi.
