IMO a good ol 'flinter is more fun to shoot than any cap lock (currently I have 3).

A round ball broke both front legs and completely passed thru a doe I shot with my flinter (50 cal.) using 100 gr fffg Goex black powder.

I was thinking about getting a Traditions Kentucky Rifle .50 Caliber Muzzleloader. 2009
