… I think it is really hard for Koreans, especially adult Koreans, to learn to speak English … that's why they bring their children abroad at an early age to study in schools where English is a medium of instruction, ex: The Philippines, where the not so rich Koreans flock nowadays while those who can afford it, send theirs here in the US for high school or college but by then it would be too late because their accent will have been harder to lose and they'll still sound fobbish even if they have mastered the grammar … the earlier they learn, the easier it is for them to pronounce English words and then speaking would be a breeze.
