A fruit-eating bird native to Central and South Africa, named after its call. Common, noisy, and usually seen in small groups. Male and female are alike except for the bill (black in the male and green in the female). It usually inhabits well-wooded areas, including gardens, and prefers to stay deep in forests, which may vary from dry thornbush to evergreen.
It also has a spectacular crest. :-)
