i have to say that i was happy to see american history x on the list. for some reason, things having to do with teeth breaking always makes me squirm. i cant watch that scene to this day. has anyone ever seen gummo? its not exactly violent, but the idea that it was loosely based on a real town deeply disturbs me. thanks so much for this list!

i was hoping hunter would explain what the allure is, but you have a little, and feel free to elaborate. like you, i watched gummo once, but haven't gone back. i can't say i really understood what i was watching, but that's not a bad thing.
