A necktie knot, larger than the four-in-hand and Pratt knot but smaller than the Windsor knot. Despite its name, it is not half the size of the Windsor knot, and there is no evidence that it is derived from that knot.

Yes, c_b, and for the life of me, I can't see much difference in the ways the half-Windsor, the Windsor, and the four-in-hand knots are tied. Who names these things, anyway? ;-)
