October 23, 2007 at 12: 27 pm the two formats will proclaim a see-saw battle between the two as they have from the beginning apparently the hd-dvd is smaller in capacity than the blu-ray's (25-30Gb compared to blu-ray 50 Gb) if the ps3 price drop ($400) can be marketed as an entertainment system on the market it will surely give a jump start to blu ray numbers?

The costs for hd-dvd are quite cheaper, and that doesnt mean anything is sacraficed.

I have a ps3 but wiil support my hd-dvd player as long as I can… even if it means just up-converting sd dvds.

The big reason hd-dvd is losing, is because sony put the blue-ray player in their PS3.
