Interestingly, Dick was also intrigued by the idea of my helping him use database software (Dbase III+ if I remember correctly) to create a kind of threaded, hypercard-esque, "adventure experience" where students could explore the contents of a lecture, poem or any other written space in a kind of text-adventure way, but "programmed" by a non-technical user (i.e., a prof).
