  • People unable to forget. Hyperthymestic syndrome (also known as hyperthymesia) is a condition where the individual is affected with a superior, autobiographical memory. The two defining characteristics of hyperthymestic syndrome are: 1) the person spends significantly large amounts of time thinking about their personal past. 2) The person has an extraordinary capacity to recall specific events from his or her personal past.
