There are some examples for d/l alteration on indo-european ground. we can find it in greek 'to dakru/dakruma' changed into latin 'lacrima' and in latin variation 'odor' and 'olere' originating from the same IE root. although I couldn't find any example concerning such a change in archaic greek.
