- In entomology, resembling the Læmodipoda in shape: an epithet applied by Kirby to certain orthopterous larvæ with elongate, subcylindrical bodies, long antennæ, and the anterior legs distant from the intermediate ones, as the Phasmidæ or walking-sticks.
