  • Long John Silver’s is a US-based fast food restaurant that specializes in seafood. In a large number of today's value- and health-conscious consumers Long John Silver's is well positioned to reel. For July 14th only, they're giving away one free Baja Fish Taco to customers (limit one) regardless of other purchases. A Baja fish taco is a fish taco, grilled or fried fish, garnished with lettuce or cabbage, salsa, and a bit of sour cream or citrus flavored mayonnaise on a tortilla, no cash necessary. Not to be outdone, Wienerschnitzel – a hot dog restaurant chain, is giving away a free chili dog or small ice cream cone. Stay alert – you never know when the next free food promo from Long John Silver's or elsewhere will be.

  • At a guess, I'd say that they'd have interesting promos at Talk Like A Pirate Day

What an odd sentence. It seems to imply that, under some circumstances, cash might be a taco ingredient. But it's reassuring to know that a Baja Fish Taco is still a Fish Taco, and that something that is given away is free (no cash necessary).

This 'sentence' is, of course, completely devoid of meaning.

Are there any menu items at PegLeg Petey's that come without spam?

  • I think there are probably about 14 Long John Silver's left in the United States. (Unless I just live in the wrong area.) Perhaps this is due to its gifted facility with the English language...? Just guessin'.

Anyway my favorite Long John Silver is not the Baja Fish Taco, but Tim Curry.

Oh no! I'm a value- and health-conscious consumer! Does this mean that soon there will peg-legged pirates prancing about inside my pancreas?

  • Was a 'p' omitted from 'reel'?

    Nice staying alert there John.
