Then came the S'express: late-1980's/early 90's house/dance party/madchester crossover, that led me to Hip House (when the first mixes of hip hop and house were done - Jungle Brothers were the kewl Commercial ones "Girl I'll House You" and the underground master was Todd Terry, who used to be remixed at 5am in the morning - nightclubs were no fun once u were legal) There was that Detroit Sound too influencing harder electronic.
I think it'd be very 90s with lots of throwback britpop & madchester stuff with maybe one or two rave bangers chucked in for good measure.
