UUID = 90F451D9F451C260/media/backup ntfs-3g defaults, locale = en_US. utf8, umask = 0 0 0 and when I check it with a ls - alF, I see that everything belongs to root: root, with full permissions.

By default, linux mounts NTFS drives as "ntfs-3g" and makes them read-only.

No idea wtf is going on or how to fix, all hdd's are ntfs - mounted use ntfs-3g - and the folders they have been mounted into are chmod 0777..

I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling ntfs-3g, and that has not helped.
