I recently got a cva optima, and have been pretty happy with it. its my first muzzleloader and it has held up pretty well considering I may not have cleaned as well as I should have after the first round of shooting.

I have a CVA optima, simple to use, I shoot Jim Shockeys gold pellets so measureing charges and clean up is a breeze and powerbelt bullets they slide in smooth and shoot terrific. plus it adds on a whole new season if you missed your opportunity on a big buck, oh and recoil is a small fraction of my slug gun

Guts: My understanding is that RV&NS can reach local optima, but has trouble with global optima because they tend to get stuck in the former, and finding global optima is like "finding a needle in a haystack".
