  • Mi stai facendo la testa a caco!

    ("You're persimmonizing* my head!")

Used in my hometown as an intensifying form of "you're pestering me", i.e. when someone keeps talking about something unceasingly.

(* We eat them when they are very, very soft.)

  • Sooooo, "caco" is Italian for persimmon?

    May 3, 2008

  • Yes, caco (pl. cachi, pron. kaki) although the formal spelling should be kaki, of course. But you can find caco in dictionaries.

Ok, I'll stop persimmonizing your head now.

  • This is fabulous. Must use soon.
