• noun A genus of selachian fishes from the Upper Eocene of Monte Bolca, belonging to the family Myliobatidæ, the eagle-rays. They differ from the recent genus Myliobates in “apparently showing [the] pectoral fin less completely interrupted at [the] side of [the] head.”
• noun In other respects it resembles Myliobates.
