The ship that foundered on Bermuda in 1609, allegedly inspiring Shakespeare's The Tempest. The arrival at Jamestown of two smaller ships built from its timbers revealed that the failure of the Sea Venture to land its supplies at Jamestown ten months earlier had led to the Starving Time.
