  • A translation from the Athabascan language, roughly meaning "sliding on snow." It's the name of a 50k ski race in Fairbanks, Alaska, and there is no word in Athabascan for "skiing."

    This is more fun to say than any phrase I know, except for perhaps "bend obsequiously." See truckle.
