  • I actually haven't heard a single "tabernac" so far, though my ear is still getting attuned to the local French -- in fact, I'm afraid I won't have much in the way of interesting linguistic reportage; our stay is just too short and we're focusing on seeing stuff. ANOTHER HIATUS.
