Schenck (followed by Schimper), tendril-climbers include all lianas which are supported by irritable organs curling around the support They are divisible, therefore, into leaf-climbers, leaf tendril-climbers, branch-climbers, hook-climbers, watchspring climbers, and stem tendril-climbers.
