The deity that gives many of us electricity to power, light, heat, cool, and operate our cities, businesses and homes. The grid is the largest machine system ever assembled on the face of the Earth, dependent upon coal and other fossil fuels, hydropower, and other forms of renewable energy. Long live the grid.
