Although driving my car was going to mean me not being able to drink well, orlright, I had had a bit of bubbly wine earlier on at the party, with food and water to mop it up properly, I was quite glad at the end of the evening when Nan was falling asleep and it was time for Lucas to get to bed and I was feeling somewhat weary myself... and Murray had suggested buying oysters for a follow-up to the fish and chips, urky yukky.
