To start wpa: wpa_supplicant - D wext - c wpa_supplicant. conf - i eth2

Getting WPA WiFi to work on Sony Vaio VGN-T1XP with Knoppix/Debian « dudegalea 2007

Tried both static and dhcp lease. wpa supplicant driver is wext, and ive madwifi, ndiswrapper and lots of others in this context as well. (oh and just mentioning, unsecured networks connects no holds barred.) i'm all out of clues. someone throw me a bone here. thanks in advance for any help. regards, franz-reubens edit: router supports both open and shared keys btw

Edit: To monitor the wpa_supplicant, I issue this command: wpa_supplicant - Dmadwifi - iath0 - c / etc / wpa_supplicant. conf - d the - d flag is debugging, my card is ath0, I use the madwifi driver (same result with wext driver) « Reply #9 on: September 16, 2008, 06: 23: 46 PM »
