From the FAQ: 'Dissertation-help is run and owned by a group of four retired professors. They were teaching as senior faculty members and research associates at various UK’s IVY League Universities.'
Do you think someone just copied, pasted and semi-edited from some American site? The closest UK equivalent to 'Ivy League' would be 'Russell Group'.
If this is true then is it not reprehensible that they should betray the social system structure that asked them to safeguard the quality of learning of their students and now seek to pass off pseudo-students onto a society that will believe they have genuinely qualified and trust in their capabilities accordingly. Or am I just making an uneducated guess?
In the near future I'll write something that'll let me freeze the accounts of spammers like this. Right now I have a script to easily nuke them, but I don't want to blow away amusing threads like this.
Hm. Maybe I'll have the freeze-account script also add a scarlet 'S' to the pages, Hester Prynne-style.
Perhaps someone could make archive copies of pages like this before they die, and accumulate a Wordie Museum of Responses to Spam. To go with some nice wallpaper.

Dear Dominic:
Why don't you bugger off and bespatter some other venue with your vile spam?

I do like the branding idea, though.
