Name given to a fake user account created to generate spam, or a profile created to provide links from a user listing of a non-existant person. (spoo' zer)
"Bill woke up in the morning to find 900 new members had join his forum, but discovered them to all be spusers."
Thank you. While I possess no valid letters to trail behind my name, I do enjoy words having always been a reader. But working with domains this past year has opened my eyes to something about them that I now enjoy in a way I had never done before. Perhaps its the ability to "own" them or just that I have been forced to look more closely not at just the information they transmit, but the nature of the word itself. I saw the forest, now I see the trees and I want to hug them.
Thank you for your first comment. If you had not made it I might have stumbled along for some time not realizing the garden I was in. I just looked at your profile and a few of your many lists, including "spam", and I think I get a little better what's going on here.
*Our definition of spam is mercurial and we reserve the right to be erratic."
So, you're a bunch of SPAMNazis, huh? Cool, I like this place more and more and can completely identify with that attitude, dispite the first impression I may have given. Sorry. I understand how my profile could have been seen to go beyond a description and into advertising.
Yes, I do have a business interest here in both research and finding possible customers, but I also do my very best to play by the rules and have edited my profile to reflect this sentiment. :-)
Ouch! That hurts and I think is rather harsh of you. I have posted no links and not tried to sell anything.... please reconsider your opinion or let me know why you think I have nothing to offer???
I had never heard of this word until I found it as an expired domain name. While not used very much, I liked it and now own it. It seems as thought it is becoming more popular. That is more people are searching for it as time goes on.
